Our Story

Hey, We are Jade and Andy!

We have had a life long passion for horse racing, our childhoods spent on racetracks and at yearling sales. We crossed paths through the Ballarat Turf Club and a date to the Wangaratta races sealed a marriage made in “racing” heaven. Snippets Racing is the culmination of our passion for the industry and our desire to share the fun and excitement this amazing industry has to offer.

We love everything about racing especially the lasting relationships, excitement and fun that racing brings to our life. Our racing journey together started when Jade was working at Country Racing Victoria and Andy was the president of the Ballarat Turf Club Young Members (Silks & Saddles), it was a match made in racing heaven and continues to be. Andy is super talented at picking out a fast racehorse and has always syndicated horses with our family and friends with much success. 

Fast forward 20 years and many racehorses, 3 children (Milly 16 years old, Gus 12 years old and Jack 8 years), 4 houses, 4 dogs and a pandemic and we are introducing our 4 baby Snippets Racing Syndications to the world.

Being in lockdown (Yep 2020 in Victoria) made us think about what we really love and what we want to do and RACING was the resounding WINNER and from here Snippets Racing Syndications (SRS) was born. SRS is a  business built on passion made with the purpose to share horse racing with people families just like ours and to show people what racing can bring to their lives - fun, excitement, good times together and a shared family passion.

SRS is a family business built on the values of honestly, integrity, teamwork and good old fashion family fun in the great outdoors (namely a racetrack).

With Jade’s experience is in event management and marketing and Andy’s expertise in breeding analysis, industry relationships and choosing fast horses. We have everything covered for you.

Andy has already has a wonderful track record choosing talented horses, he has been doing this for years with family and friends, it is just now we are licensed and official and have a name. Andy selected Gotta Kiss (2nd in the Gr 1 JJ Atkins Stakes) who was a super star amassing $485,000 prize money, and sold as a broodmare for $800,000 along with priceless Magic Million memories for us and our friends that we will never forget.

The Autumn of 2023 just 18 months into our horses hitting the track with our oldest horses just three years old was a break out year for us. We had an amazing Adelaide Carnival thanks to the efforts of CHILLED and ARUGAMAMA. Between them they had 7 starts over the Carnival for 3 wins and 3 placings including a stakes win and two stakes placings and nearly $200,000 in stakes.
